A few ground rules.

These terms apply to Openbookly’s map, business dashboard, and AI assistants. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and follow these terms.

Finding places and getting answers

Openbookly helps you find businesses and get answers, including outside business hours. Map information comes from Google Maps or, where available, OpenStreetMap and may be incomplete or outdated. Google Maps features are also subject to the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. AI answers can be incorrect. Confirm opening hours, prices, availability, accessibility, and other important details directly with the business. General AI answers are not statements approved by a business. The service is not intended for emergencies or professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

Business claims

You must be authorized to represent a business you claim, use an email address you control, and keep your information accurate. Our initial claim process uses confirmed email and self-attestation; it is not independent verification of business ownership. We may review, suspend, or reassign disputed or fraudulent claims. Report a disputed claim to tenthousandai@gmail.com with the listing and supporting information.

Knowledge you provide

You retain ownership of your content and give Openbookly permission to store, process, and use it to answer public questions about your business. Upload only text you have the right to share. Do not upload confidential information, personal customer records, credentials, malware, or instructions intended to bypass another system’s protections. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your content.

Conversations and follow-up

New conversations are available to the corresponding business owner for 90 days. Consumers can separately request a follow-up and choose contact details to share. A request is not a booking or a promise that the business will reply at a particular time. Requests for unclaimed listings wait until an owner joins. Business owners must use consumer contact details only for the requested follow-up, respect requests to stop contact, and keep conversation information private. Do not use the inbox to send unsolicited marketing, sell contact details, or add customer conversations to the public knowledge base.

Free and premium service

Map search and standard AI chat are free, subject to availability and fair-use limits. Premium costs $20 USD per month for each subscribed business profile and includes a gold star on the map and enhanced AI answers. We may also grant complimentary premium access for development or promotional use. A gold star identifies premium access; it is not a rating, endorsement, or independent ownership verification. Applicable charges and any taxes are shown at checkout.

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel in the billing portal at any time; paid access normally continues through the current billing period. Deleting a knowledge document does not cancel your subscription. Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. These terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

Fair use and availability

AI requests have limits on length, frequency, and total usage to keep the service available. Premium is not unlimited, and the dashboard explains its current allowance before checkout. Requests may be temporarily unavailable when limits or provider capacity are reached. We do not silently replace premium AI with a cheaper model when its allowance is exhausted. We may adjust limits, improve features, and interrupt access for maintenance or security.

Responsible access

Do not impersonate businesses, harass others, attempt to access another owner’s files or payment records, automate abusive traffic, or bypass rate limits and safety controls. We may restrict access or remove content that violates these rules. Openbookly is provided as available, without a guarantee that every listing or AI answer is accurate. Nothing here excludes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
